The Hub on Chestnut
Philadelphia, PA
Brawer Hauptman + Larkin is the Architect of Record for this mixed-use project at the western edge of the Penn Campus. This 9-story tower has become an important anchor for the intersection of 40th and Chestnut Streets. The lower two floors have a variety of retail tenants and the upper seven floors contain 101 loft apartments aimed at an urban student market. The “rain screen” exterior is a European wood veneer composite panel system with corrugated metal sheathing on the upper floors. Piatt Associates of Boston is the Design Architect.
